Chill and eat Chili.

There are people who eat and people who dine. People who are hungry and people who are always hungry. There are even people that will eat something that fell on the floor and people who would rather die. The good thing about going to an outdoor food festival – besides the presumable people watching – is the sampling like you’re at Costco’s.

This weekend, Taste of DC returns to Pennsylvania Ave with it’s chili eating contest, beer garden and wine walk. There’s going to be a chili eating contest with a guy who ate 2 gallons of chili last year. TWO gallons – as in enough gas to make it home in rush hour traffic. Or enough gas to clear out all the Pepto Bismol you would ever need from CVS.

Deets for the event are below –  Tish Cummingham, of TasteLife Catering will be there, so be sure to stop by and say hi. All of the vendors will have small “tapas” that range from $1- $3.

When: Saturday, October 11th 12PM – 7PM

Sunday, October 12th 12PM – 7PM
